SCHOLARSHIPS AND HONORS OVERVIEW

Oregon Thespians bestows several annual scholarships and honors, awarded
to Thespian Troupes, Troupe Directors, and Individual Students.

Troupe Honors:
     • Showcase Production at the State Festival
     • Honor Troupe designation
Troupe Director Honors:
     • The Melba Day Sparks-Henning Award (Oregon’s Theatre Educator’s Hall of Fame)
Student Honors:
     • Election to the Student Board
     • Playwriting Award
     • Thespian Scholarships
     • Alan J. Adams Tech Scholarship
     • Melba Day Sparks-Henning Memorial Scholarship
 

Applications for Scholarships and Honors are mailed to a variety of locations, committee chairs,

to find out where to send the appropriate application materials. Deadlines are postmark deadlines.
